Escape the Corporate Grind and Build Your Own Dream.

I help corporate women leave the 9 to 5 to build something better.

Welcome!

Hi there!

I'm Debbie, and I'm so glad you're here.

After 37 years in the corporate world, I know exactly what it takes to break free. I’m here to help you plan your escape from the corporate cult while you're still employed and build a business of your very own.

Generally speaking, I work with women in two distinct stages:

The Corporate Escapee

This is for the woman ready to design her exit strategy. Whether you are an administrative powerhouse or a boardroom executive, we build a safe, confident bridge from your 9-to-5 to your next chapter.

The New Entrepreneur

This is for the woman in the early stages of her business who needs to nail her foundational offers, pricing, and sales systems. You don't need a corporate past to build a solid foundation here—all backgrounds are welcome.

I've lived on both sides of this fence — the corporate grind and the entrepreneur scramble.

That experience is exactly what I bring to our private, 1:1 work together.

About Debbie Mitten

I spent nearly four decades in corporate working my way from a sales assistant at Merrill Lynch to a VP of Business Strategy.

Throughout those years, I worked directly with CEOs and leadership teams, solving complex problems that stood between them and their goals. Strategy is my sweet spot.

All the while, I secretly wished I was building my own business, but I stayed because I was comfortable with the steady paycheck, and too burned out to make the leap. Sound familiar?

As life would have it, the choice was made for me. At 59, I was laid off with no plan and ended up in the ER from corporate burnout. Looking for another corporate job wasn't an option. I knew it was time to bet on myself.

I started my coaching and consulting business at 60. My only regret is not doing it sooner, and not having the time to plan my exit instead of scrambling while recovering from burnout.

Transitioning from employee to business owner requires a completely different mindset. That experience is why I’m here.

I help corporate women map out a realistic exit strategy and build sustainable, high-integrity business foundations from day one.

Outside of business, I'm a lifelong introvert and a creative. I sing, write songs, paint, and shoot photography. I’m also a massive tech nerd.

My coaching style is collaborative, intuitive, and deeply grounded. I gently keep you accountable to your plan, and above all, I keep things simple.

If you want a mentor who’s already been where you are, send me a message and let's start mapping out your next move.
